The morning started off very very cold. Dark luminous clouds above our heads and a cold wind. Kyle and I both signed up to do the 10k with Nicole. When we got up there I was very nervous about pushing Gus in the stroller because it was 39 degrees and windy. I new the poor little guy would be freezing cold, but we ended up deciding to do it. Andy and Macy broke the rules and didn't take a shuttle to the finish line in Grafton, but drove their car instead. Best idea ever! So the race starts and two miles into it Gus is freezing, it is windy and then it starts to snow. Kyle decides to turn back and take Gus to the car. Best idea ever #2! It snowed on us the entire race until the last mile, I was so glad Kyle decided to take Gus back! It was such a fun race and Nicole did awesome!!

ReplyDeleteBabies and cold windy weather are not a good combination for sure! I probably would have chickened out before the race even started. I hate being cold!
