This is how you washed your hands, and let people know you were using the groover (aka toilet)

September 1st I challenged myself to try every boat on the river. I was on the paddle boat, I tried the ducky which was not as fun as the paddle boat, I rode on Marcus' gear boat which was a lot of fun especially because he let me try to row. It was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. We stopped at the Polly Bemis Ranch to have lunch on the rocks and to tour the part of the ranch they let you tour. She was an amazing Chinese woman who was traded over a poker match. We stopped at Buckskin Bills for ice cream, which was amazing. Actually that might have happened August 31st, the day we flipped the gear boat. The last evening around the campfire we had our awards ceremony. Earlier in the week Britten (one of the guides) had everyone draw a name, and then you were in charge of awarding that person with an award. I drew Mikayla and I was drawing a blank, I told Rachel and she had the best idea. Mikayla was kind of a messy camper, with her stuff laying everywhere. Rachel said to just gather all her crap and give it back to her. So that evening I buried some of her stuff in the sand by my chair, legit the stuff that I happened to find in my bag, and around the tent and all over, so when it came to me I picked up this pile of sand, with her crap and gave it to her. It was hilarious, I actually made her a bracelet that Linie brought beads for so she got something cool, but she told me the other day she lost it :) imagine that. I think I got the best award. Zeppelin drew me, he had found some bones on a beach, and he was able to make a "W" with string and the bones (I currently have it hanging in my craft room) the whole week everyone started calling me Wesley like my kids do, because our river guide on the paddle boat has an alter ego named Carl, so we were Carl and Wesley on the paddle boat. People honestly got so confused as to what my name actually is, because Rachelle and Marker call me Althea, then the paddle boat started calling me Wesley, and some people were calling me Emily, so I said my name was Wesley Emily Althea Ballard :) The trip was so fun, and I really really want to try to find out how I can get my family on the river. Rachelle was amazing, Marker was amazing, the food was amazing, the people were amazing, camping was amazing, paddling all day was amazing. I just loved every minute of it. The first night off the river we stayed in McCall, which is a beautiful town, then the next day we drove to Stanley ate at the most amazing bakery, and got some shopping in, sat in a natural hot spring, then went to Red Mountain Lodge at an alpine lake, then we drove to Ketchum for our final night. We ate, shopped, went on a long walk, and had lots of fun. I cannot tell you how amazing a shower felt after the river.

Winky Lux, the lip gloss, Rachelle influenced me on it. It works on your ph and turns your lips a slight pink or red depending on your ph of the lips.

We went on a tour of Glen Canyon with Amy, Ashlee, Corry, Travis, Naomi, Jim, The Wilson kids, Linie, Gma Becky, Mike, and all of my kids. We had a lot of fun, it was super hot so the kids jumped into the 47 degree river. It took like 4 hours. They bused you through one of the tunnels, to the base of Glen Canyon dam which is huge and amazing, then you boat down. I told everyone next year we will kayak and paddle board it like Kyle and I did for our anniversary last year.
