Good Intentions

We had such good intentions to walk around the track at the annual relay for life, but you as you can see below, these little kiddos got in the way. Evee, Owen, Marsh Man, and Gus Monster had a blast playing together. Oni, Mindee and I had fun reminiscing, we reminisced about the days in middle school walking from Mindee's to Oni's to my house often multiple times a day. Tragically in our lives Mindee had to move our ninth grade year. When she moved we made her a scrapbook and gave her the movie Gattaca, random yes, but we loved that movie (watch the trailer it's pretty hilarious).

Relay for Life

Hurricane had its annual Relay for Life this past weekend. Amy and I were in charge of the survivors, last year we did the luminaria ceremony, and next year we will just do a team. We figure being on the committee three years is enough. Our camp theme was candyland so we made huge foam lollipops for decor, and sold lollipops and cotton candy. They had a pretty good turnout, and the weather was fab.
