DECEMBER 2019
December Randoms: The boys wrote letters to Santa (I forgot to send them) but they were cute. I decided I kinda don't like making letters to Santa, because what if Santa doesn't end up bringing what they want... We found size 14 mens Adidas shoes at the DI. I bought them for a White Elephant gift. My nephew Kason ended up with them. He actually traded someone something for them. Mikayla and Andy got engaged. One of my young women (Hailey Odekirk) signed to run at UVU. Linda did a cute craft during conference. I think we had sick kiddos, so she brought it home for me to do. It took me a couple of months to get to it, but it turned out way cute. We hiked the Hurricane hill behind our house, and Gus (who has Gma Scholzen eyes) found Indian beads. Soon all of the boys found some. I have never found one, and I thought it was pretty cool that he did. Too much snow on Kolob led us to buy a tree at Costco this year. It was short and dinky and perfect, I told Kyle I am more of a rustic non perfect tree person. Our friends (who live right behind our old house) have their sister living with them for a bit. She made the most hilarious Christmas card. It still hangs on my fridge to this day. We've been sick since Thanksgiving. It's been a bad sickness season at our house. So thats why you get an awesome pick of Jacks tonsils.'
A couple of our sand boarding trips. We have a key to the Sand Hollow Resort hot tub and pool, so after sand boarding we hop in there for a bit. Lots and lots of fun, and the kids get worn out (Gus thinks its mean that I say I want to wear them out)
CHRISTMAS festivities of 2019: Kyle was sick so Christmas Eve we stayed home and had a fancy dinner. It was kinda nice not having to do the normal hustle and bustle of Christmas. Gus got a 410 gun for Christmas. Oliver got a pellet gun. Jack got a new scooter, and Walt got a battery for the ride on four wheeler. Their favorite thing on Christmas day were the life straws. They were sucking puddles all morning.
