I realized I never documented Gus' sedation. His pediatrician thought he had a heart murmur so she requested he have an ultrasound of his heart. Little did we know it was a sedated ultrasound. It was so sad seeing him loopy like that. Well to our relief they found no heart murmur so $2,000.00 down the drain.
Hey as a mom I would glad to see that 2 grand go without anything more needed.
ReplyDeleteOwen has a heart murmur that isn't very bad, but for the first year we had to go to the cardiologist every 2 months and it was $600 each time. It sucked. That's wierd that they sedated him.
ReplyDeleteOh poor little Gus. I hate seeing them loopy too. I can't believe it was that much. I don't think any of my u/s were that much, not even my echocardiogram. Must be the sedating part. I guess you can look at the $2000 as money towards piece of mind. But yeah, it still stinks! It wasn't until Boston was back home from his little hospital visit that I went oh crap, how much is that going to cost us now. :) At least they are all better and there are no worries.
