Retrospect

Kind of a long post sorry. I wanted to take a look back at the last eight years of our dating life. So starting with the first pics at the top. Kyle and his Grandma Scholzen at the yearly Olds family reunion, I love their stoic looks. She is one amazing lady! We love to play indoor soccer. We haven't played much since our friends moved to California, but we will play every chance we get. The next pic represents our many MLB games we have gone to. We went to spring training in Arizona one year, and if you haven't gone yet it is a must do! The next pic is of my family in Cambria. We try to go every year, usually in December. It is one of our favorite places to visit (having a house a couple of blocks from the beach helps though). Then there is Kyle and the master mind behind our remodel (Kenny Last) yes that is a chocolate cigar in Kyles mouth not a real one. It is still a work in progress, and every time Kenny comes to visit we steal him for a few hours to help us plan the next move, sorry Shirls. (he is an amazing architect). Our yearly fourth of July celebration at the Ashcrofts is next. Then Shirls (Shirley Last) one of Kyles most favorite people. Thanks to her we have our wonderful architect. Our next pic is of the Eiffel Tower and our favorite place we visited on our Europe trip, Mykonos Greece. One day we will go back to that lovely Greek island, oh how I miss the Gyros there. The last three pics are of the semi annual branding at the Ballards ranch. Yes ,that is me in the last pic castrating a cow. I haven't castrated one since this pic, but I love to go and write in the ancient book who went and how many steers and heffers there are. The old man :) leaning against the fence is Kyles Grandpa Ballard, he is an amazing man, a true cowboy! This is just a brief glimpse back at our 8 years, due to Kyles computer crashing 5 times a lot of our pics are lost. So one word of advice, back up your photos today!
