Night Owls and a Birthday

My sister Amy went to Mexico for a week, jealous yes, but I was in charge of her kiddos. While she was gone Kinlee had a birthday so we hosted it. It was a night owl pajama party. We made owl bean bags, played night games, and roasted hot dogs. I loved listening to the girls talk around their table their topics ranged from ketchup to boys cheating (they are 10 years old), then back to ketchup. 10 year old little girls are exhausting that is for sure!

Chasing the Chickens

To the Ranch

We went with Grandpa Bruce and Uncle Kip to the Ballard's ranch. It was so very windy, but lets be honest when is it not here. Gus loved roaming around in the dirt. I love the stage he is at right now, independent enough to have fun by himself yet still needs snuggles from me time to time.

Mayhem

I spy with my little eye five kids that don't belong to me, but would adopt in a minute. This is what our backyard looks like after school or on Saturdays. Mayhem.

Gifts

Thank you pinterest for this cute baby shower idea. It is supposed to be a motorcycle if you can't quite tell. My second one turned out better. Another reason Kyle can't hate on pinterest.

Blankie and Teddy

This boy loves these two things more then me I think. It is comical to watch him try to tote them both around the house. He has figured out that if he wraps his head with blankie then it frees up his hands so he can hold teddy. I normally don't let him take them out of his room, but sometimes he insists on having them.

Take it outside

We have been working on a projects outside as of late. I detested the color of our shed so I painted it to match the trim of our house. Then I painted the door and the under part of the patio turquoise. It looks so much better I can't believe it. On to the next project
