Coco left for the MTC last Tuesday. We are pretty sad, but optimistic that he will come back even better then he was. Gus says in a sad voice daily "Coco" then my heart breaks and we assure him he is gone on a mission but will be back. The above picture is Coco after he was set apart sharing his nutella laced rice krispie with Gus.
Mr and Mrs Wright
Guess who finally got married? Yep, my brother Dusty! Hip Hip Hooray! He married Amanda Jorgensen from Richfield. It was a beautiful wedding at the Ledges. We are so happy for them, and Gus enjoyed dancing the night away with his kissing cousin Taya!
Opening Ceremony: Utah Summer Games
Our friends invited us up to Cedar to be ushers for the Summer Games. Nicole works at SUU so she was able to hook us up. Main reason we did it was for the front row seats and free tickets. Gus got so excited when the horses and flags came out he was teary eyed. He loved watching Nitro Circus, playing with Macy, and of course the fireworks. If you ask him about the night he will tell you all about the vroom vroom's and hs (horses) and booms (fireworks). It was a late night, but Gus was a champ till the end.
Elder Coco Barney
Coco leaves on his mission Wednesday and let me just say I hope two years goes by fast! I am very proud of him and his talk Sunday was outstanding. Gus is going to miss him a lot as well, they have become buddies these past few months. My sister wanted some pics of him so he could hand out these wallet sized photos with his address on them. He is one handsome missionary!
Memorial Day
We visited the Grafton Cemetery for Memorial Day this year. Our favorite name on there was Puss. We ate at Oscar's for lunch, went swimming then had a barbecue. It was a perfect day...
Vegas or Bust
We went to Vegas with our friends the Funderburks a couple of weekends ago. We shopped till we dropped ate some yummy food and saw blue man group which Gus loved.
Gus and Macy both brought their harmonicas for the trip. Not planned, but kept them both entertained at times!
Macy has a wardrobe that most grown women would die for...
Gus loved loved loved The Blue Man Group. We watch it daily at our house now. He will walk up to us and say boom boom boom which translates to let me watch Blue Man on the iPad.
Next time you are in Vegas you NEED to go to Luv-it! It was the best frozen custard I have ever had. Nicole's friend told her about it and we were so glad we stopped to have some!
