The above 2 pictures are from the Ballard Reunion in Grafton. Kyle took the boys into the house Grandpa Ballard (larry) grew up in.
Jack loves to cuddle strangers. Its weird. Maybe its because then he can't see their face? This is one of Kyle's customers wife from Vegas they came camping in Zion and we met them and Gma & Gpa Bruce for dinner
We went to almost all of Nicholas' baseball games. This was his first year playing. He was pretty darn good for never playing.
We went to SLC to go to Rachelle's Little Wellness Clinic open house. Gpa Bruce bought the boys sprinkles at Orson Gygi. Well on the way home the above pictures happened. They had a sprinkles war, I'm still finding sprinkles in my car
In SLC we took the boys to Hogle Zoo, and we went shopping at City Creek. The zoo was a lot of fun and luckily it was overcast when we went so it was very hot.
Being yogi's at the Little Wellness Clinic. Rash's clinic is really really cute. I'm excited for her
We went to dinner in the Avenues with Rash and her business partners and some of their family. It was really yummy italian food. Luckily there was a door right where we sat in the back room so we escaped outside during dinner numerous times.
They slept on the tramp, minus Jack the terror. I was proud of them. Oliver stayed until 3 or so and Gus and Kyle spent the whole night out there. It was a bad idea for Kyle's allergies though
They were selling these calf's but had to keep them in the coral for a couple of days before the auction. Everyone took turns feeding them hay. It was weird, it looks like they have a ton of hay on the ground to eat but they weren't eating it. We threw a new bundle out and they devoured it. They are like Kyle and don't like leftovers I guess.
We took the boys to some random park in SLC to get their wiggles out. I love that there are so many up there.
One night after dinner we drove the back way home past Sand Hollow because they were doing fights. They all thought it was pretty awesome to watch for the few minutes we were there.
Gus was giving Oliver some fishing stuff because his tackle box was empty. Another moment of tenderness I had to capture to remember on hard days.
My mom thinks that Jack looks like Naomi. I see what she is saying
I have to capture the tender moments when they happen because they are few and far between. Gus was teaching Oliver how to shoot the bow and arrow.
Mother's Day sibling dinner at our house. We had dutch oven potatoes, trip tip, and 3 yummy salads. I made Linda's sugar cookies that you top with whip cream and strawberries for dessert.
Andy was going to take his white truck to Jen's Grandpa in Mesquite to get fixed so they put it on Kelly's trailer. Well, it didn't quite fit on the trailer. This is one of 3 times that they moved the thing.
Jack loving on Miss Bris. Right after this photo he clawed her face.
Wrenching with their Daddio. Kyle has become quite the mechanic these last few months. I'm pretty proud of him.
This kid. He is a little tornado. He loves playing with lots of toys but hates to pick anything up by himself. I found this little painter behind the garbage can in the back painting my sidewalk. For your info craft paint doesn't come off. He was super excited I found him as you can tell.
We went to Kolob as a family for Memorial Day. It was perfect weather. We found gastropods Christmas tree rocks, we even found 2 fossilized sharks teeth. My mom and Amy found those.
Mrs. Parker, Mrs. Miller (full time teacher), and Mrs. Lebaron. Gus was in the middle of the day class so Mrs. Parker and Mrs. Lebaron would switch halfway through class. So he had all 3 teachers. He says he liked Mrs. Miller the best. I really liked Mrs. Lebaron. I helped a lot in his class this year.
Oliver was more interactive at the pre school graduation than Gus. That's Mrs. Lebaron playing parachute with them. I really really liked her as a teacher.
We picked up Miles for pre school everyday and Leesha brought Gus home. It was a nice little arrangement. Oliver thought he was in school too. They would race everyday. Gus is faster than Miles, so they had to take turns who won. They usually argued over whose turn to win it was. Oliver thought his school was his "poopin potty school" I asked who his teacher was and he told me Amy. Gus had a friend in his class named Jairo. He called him a Mexico boy because he was hispanic. So Gus claims Jairo the Mexico Boy hit him sometimes and so Oliver when talking about his poopin potty school would tell us all about Jairo in his class who would hit him and how he was going to punch him in his face. That boy is crazy (oliver).
When I helped Gus at school this was his face most of the time. He was so very timid and shy. The teachers claim he warmed up, but this is on the last day and he was petrified.
Is that a horny toad biting Jack's tongue? Oliver sounds like a calm easy child at this stage in his life. :)
