JANUARY 2018
Kyle set some traps for a couple of days at the ranch. Grandpa and Grandma went with us. Oliver the mountain climber climbed with Grandma clear up the hill.
After the ranch we went to eat Hibachi style at Sakura. We haven't ever taken them and they thought it was pretty cool. They even ate really good which is always a plus.
We took the Barney's and Funderburks sand sledding. They loved it. Amy and Kinlee saw James The Mormon broke down on the side of the road. Amy was in heaven. Funder's had a hard time getting out here. Their Bronco stopped working on the way here from Cedar, then they drove the Jimmy up to the sand hill and the Jimmy got stuck so Kyle had to rescue them again. I hope they had fun once they got up there.
I made these cute smore invites for our priesthood and temple prep class in primary. We get Elder Lee's emails every week still. He is seriously one of the best missionaries. This was a quote he had in his letter.
He is so sweet when he sleeps
Jack and Oliver the kings of fort building. They were scaring me this day though. Especially Jack jumping off of the bar stool onto the couch. I'm usually the one that cleans up the fort so I have a love hate relationship with it.
My mom showed Oliver and Jack who Mr. T is. This is Oliver being Mr. T
Jack and Miss Briss
I had the urge to paint our doors. It was time. Summer is so good to me and sends me pics of our door photoshopped with different colors. This was my favorite so I went to Ace where the girl told me blue doesnt come in warm colors like Summer had said. Summer said that girl doesnt know what she is talking about...
We took the kids to hit baseballs one Saturday morning. Jack loved it. We got a pair of baseball pants his size at a yardsale, and then Kyle found this cute Angels baseball coat his size. He wears his baseball pants all of the time and thinks he is pretty cool.
Hiked to 3 Falls. There was a pretty good sized puddle at the end. It was pretty muddy too
Oliver has the worst luck. He ran to get the door the other day and somehow this part of his head hit the doorknob who knows how.
We have to capture the sweet moments of him
Legos entertain the kiddos. Jack even likes to play with them and build.
I had to say the prayer in our ward conference. Cami Gubler who types the program put my name as Amy Ballard. So the next week this printed retraction was in the program. Our program has something funny every week. She is the greatest
We had such a fun week with the Wilson cousins while their parents went on a cruise. Saturday we started off with donuts and magazines, coyote hunting, and track building. We took them sand sledding, coyote hunting again, we took them to the ranch and found some sheds and hiked all over, took them sand sledding again, we went to Meg's bday party at the House of Jump, then the next night for Oliver's birthday we went to the rec center swimming, and we sat in the hot tub for my birthday. Grandma had an art table, that she says only Georgia and Madi liked. It was awesome. Such a great great week.
Oliver turns 5! DQ for lunch to pick up his bday cake. Rec center that evening for swimming with family. This kid has been planning his birthday since his last birthday. Everyday it has changed, one minute he wanted to go to New York City, the next minute he wanted to go to McDonalds. He just loves his birthday so so much. He is such a happy content kid. Everyone love Ollie Boy
Warren and Jackie. This is Aunt Sue's sister. Kyle would hunt with the Old's when he was a young tyke and he fell in love with Warren. I've heard many stories of them listening to the World Series, eating Aunt Sue's chocolate sheet cake while at the Old's cabin. She will go on and on about how awesome Kyle is and I couldn't agree with her more. He truly is a great man
Kyle took the kids to the basketball game. Dylan did the presentation of colors with whoever does that. lol
My only kid that loves salad. He "helped" me one dinner by pouring almost the entire bottle of dressing onto the salad. Such a great little worker.
